The Division of Adult & Career Education (DACE) carries on its journey to embrace employers’ input and create partnerships as it continues to host Employer Advisory Board (EAB) meetings where employers from different industry sectors gather and share workforce needs and current trends with teachers, advisors and students. Recently, DACE hosted an EAB for the Accounting and Building & Grounds Worker programs offered at most school sites.
At the meeting, held at Evans Community Adult School, employers from both industry sectors (Business and Finance and Marketing, Sales, and Service) reviewed and provided valuable contributions to the Accounting and Building & Grounds Worker curricula. Employers’ recommendations are assessed and implemented to make our training relevant and current. DACE is committed to strengthening partnerships with employers to ensure job opportunities for our students.
