Starting on September 17 and continuing through October 12, 2018 there will be an incentivized implementation of the new Single Sign-On (SSO) for Division of Adult & Career Education (DACE) students.
The prizes include a Google Chromebook cart for the DACE school that has the highest number of students who complete all four of the SSO treasure hunt objectives, which are listed below. There will also be a Google Chromebook cart awarded to the DACE school that has the highest percentage of their student body that completes all four of the objectives.
“Rather than just have students activate their SSO accounts we would like them to demonstrate their ability to use some of the resources that are now available to them,” stated Rosario Galvan, DACE Administrator.
Four SSO Treasure Hunt objectives for DACE students
- Student activates her/his Single Sign-On account
- Sends an email from her/his new account to a specific email address provided
- Joins a Schoology Course with a specific code that is provided
- Fills out a Google Form with the link that is provide in the above mentioned Schoology Course
More SSO rollout details will be shared in the coming days with teachers and students by their respective school site administrators and Instructional Technology Teacher Advisors (ITTAs). You can also contact Sean Abajian at firstname.lastname@example.org with SSO related questions.
